To compliment our range of VGA leads (which only carry the vision part of a PC / Laptop signal) we offer the same lengths of cables to carry audio signals. In this instance, these cables are only offered for sale as they are relatively low cost and more often than not damaged in the 'rush' of de-rig. THESE ARE ONLY NEEDED if sound is required on the screen but PLEASE remember that if audio cables are not run, they CANNOT be added later - Perhaps best to be sure when ordering.

The signals from a DVD player, video player or games console are entirely different from PC signals and as such use very very different cables. Again, these cables are only offered for sale as they are relatively low cost and more often than not damaged in the 'rush' of de-rig. These cables carry vision and sound (even if sound is not required), hence just the one cable to each screen for either silent (vision only) or sound and vision applications.

Extremely high quality Male to Male VGA leads (the most common type) are shown here in a number of commonly ordered lengths. As all of our equipment has female connectors on the body of the equipment - be that a laptop output, VGA amplifier input / output, TFT / plasma screen inputs etc, a male cable 'end' needs to plugged in AT BOTH ENDS. There will be times when the leads we include with equipment will not be long enough (a list is on the web page for each type of equipment we supply), OR for times when cables need to be run under floors PRIOR to a floor covering and obviously PRIOR to our arrival to deliver equipment, and so leads will need to be ordered.
This type of lead is used to pass the VISION part of a PC / LAPTOP signal ONLY - Please REMEMBER to ALSO order audio cables if you are running sound.
These cables DO NOT carry audio signals - Audio cables need to be ordered seperatly if reguired.
Male to Female types (below) are used as an extension to these leads so that the female end is part of the 'centre join' effectively making an even longer male - male lead.
LONG cables NEED to be of the highest quality as minimising signal loss in these types of lead is extremely important. We can of course send these out BEFORE we deliver equipment so that they can be run under floors, behind walls, inside box sections etc during construction. We can also supply these for outright purchase, please contact us for alternative lengths / availability.

Male to Male types (above) are often the preferred option as they would have no joins, HOWEVER, there are also many times when an existing lead needs to be extended OR equipment is not as expected OR times when 'making up' a length on site so as to be shorter (although joined) is better than OVER ORDERING a single male to male type and then having lots spare (thus degrading the signal without needing to).
